Your personal details are linked to your identity (first name, last name, language, date of birth, country, phone number, etc.). You can see and amend these details at anytime from your profile page. This information will never be shared with other members without your permission.
It's really important that you keep your information up to date. We suggest that both our landlord and tenant users keep their personal details updated, so as to keep our site secure.

Profile

Your profile allows other members to get to know you better. Talk about what you love: what are the things you couldn't live without? Share your favourite trips, books, films, music, restaurants. Talk about what it’s like to have you as a tenant or as a landlord. Describe how you like to live. If you are advertising a homestay, say how you like to host. Do you have a life motto?

Proof of Identity

This is to keep the Roomlala site safe and secure. We work hard to give our members a high degree of satisfaction and security. We manually verify each profile so that we can assure others of your credibility. Uploading your ID on the site is, therefore, highly recommended. Please note that only our moderators at Roomlala can see your scanned ID, and the files are stored on safe encrypted software.

Proof of Address

If you're a landlord you can upload a proof of address. This way we guarantee your tenants that your accommodation really exists and is in the right place on the map.

Verify your phone number

"We're sorry, this line has been disconnected" - have you heard this before? Don't worry, this will never happen on Roomlala since we verify all phone numbers. We do this in order to increase efficiency and avoid miscommunication between landlords and tenants.

Link your account to social networks

Link your Facebook, Twitter or LinkedIn accounts to your Roomlala profile. Build your online reputation and discover other hosts and travellers all over the world.

Premium Membership

A Premium Membership allows you to contact all other Roomlala users without restriction.

The time it takes you to respond to your messages is crucial. We give more trust to members who quickly answer their messages. You will receive a reminder by email for each message you receive, and you can simply click on the link in the email to respond to the message!

Who is this landlord who offers a lovely room in the heart of London? Who are these flatmates I will share my kitchen with during my internship? Have a look at the reviews of each member and get a better idea of who they are. After each rental, don't forget to review your accommodation and to evaluate the landlord (if you're a tenant) or request feedback from previous tenants (if you're a landlord).
